Exploring the intersection between local economy and local agro-ecology, architecture and agriculture, this panel discussion brings together practitioners of non-extractive bioregional architecture to discuss how the built and natural environments can become more enmeshed? We will look across the supply chain and lifecycle of design and construction – materials cultivation, form making, maintenance and employment opportunities – reflecting on how to strengthen and scale these re-emergent forms of practice to reinforce a circular economy, changing how we live together as communities and neighbourhoods.
