When implementing mob grazing, one of the first questions people ask is how many animals in how big a paddock for how long? In this workshop we will explore all aspects of carrying capacity, what calculations to make, how many days grazing are available, how many animals can be fed…we will work through a range of grazing management types, such as mob grazing, conservation grazing and set stocking, and discuss which might be more appropriate at different times of the year.
