Join us for a Pond Safari to explore some lost ponds at Lannock Farm and see how, with a little work (guided by the latest science) these habitats can be restored to deliver huge gains for biodiversity on the farm and in the wider landscape. We will visit a pond which has been recently restored under Natural England’s District Level Licencing scheme for great crested newts, consider the potential for further pond work on the estate, (including, excitingly, resurrecting ‘ghost’ ponds!) and discuss sources of funding for this type of work.
