Ed White was born to be a farmer. Even before he moved to his step-father’s farm, aged 8, with his mum and brother, he was making pens for imaginary pigs and begging for chickens. Now he, along with 3 generations of family, runs The Slow Farming Company. Their operation covers 160 acres of grass and herbal leys, with mob-grazed cows alongside free-range pigs and hens. Produce is sold via an e-commerce website and on-site farm shop. They also cater for events with their BBQ, made from farm scrap.
