Elise is a conservationist with a passion for conservation grazing and native breed livestock. She is a stockperson at Cherry Lodge Farm in Wiltshire which is home to Parsonage Down National Nature Reserve. She manages the herd of English Longhorn cattle owned by Natural England on the southern edge of Salisbury Plain. The 650 acre organic and pasture fed farm aims to find a balance of helping nature and conserve species whilst producing ‘biodiverse beef’ raised on the chalk grassland. Elise believes in connecting people with nature through the sales of their beef and developing a successful nature and pasture based farming business. She is also newly elected as the youngest trustee to join the board of the Longhorn Cattle Society
