Georgie started working at RSPB Hope Farm in 2017, as an assistant and now farm manager. There, Georgie oversees the land management on the farm’s research projects, working with the contractor on both the cropping and conservation operations, and the communications strategy. At hope farm, the core aims are to achieve nature-friendly farming, without insecticides, turning a profit, and slowly moving the farm further along the path to true regenerative agriculture. Recently, net zero farming has come to the forefront of the farms strategy to fit in alongside these core objectives. Georgie also advises on the environmental management back on the family farm at home.
