Roisin Taylor is a cut flower grower and florist running Verde Flower Co, 2023 Nuffield farming Scholar and Co-Director of UK Youth for Nature – the leading youth network calling for urgent action on the nature crisis. With a background in climate and nature policy and dry stone walling, she took a leap into the world of cut flower production in north east England. She spends her time growing, campaigning for change, delivering workshops and talks, and using social media to teach others how horticulture can become more resilient to the impacts of a 2-degree warming world.
