Malcolm Barrett

Malcolm is a tenant farmer at Tregooden Farm in Cornwall, where he farms beef cattle and arable. Malcolm and Catherine took on the tenancy four years ago. They are passionate about soil health and work closely with organisations to learn more about their soils, which has led them to take a more regenerative approach. Their system involves min till and direct drilling, grazing livestock on cover crops on arable land, and rotationally grazing herbal leys and flower meadows.
