Biodiversity Bimble

Safari Tent

ADAS scientists and Farm Wildlife entomologists will show you how to recognise some wild plants and key farmland invertebrates, with a focus on bumblebees, predators and parasitoids. Bimble between our four stations along the Groundswell meadow to hear from all the speakers specialising in agriculture research and conservation. Discover biodiversity and discuss methods for promoting wildlife and encouraging natural pest control on farms. We will use sweep nets, bug nets, pooters and pitfall traps to show you which pests, predators, pollinators, and other wildlife are living on site and which plants provide their habitat.
