A systematic shift to regenerative agriculture requires participation across the whole supply chain, from farmers, agronomists, policy-makers and manufacturers, through to retailers and consumers. How can a consumer goods multi-national re-engineer its supply chain and embed regenerative agriculture principles within it? Unilever has nine regenerative agriculture projects globally, across 48,000 hectares. With plans to expand further, the company has recently launched its first regenerative agriculture project in the UK, working with farms that grow the mustard seeds and mint leaves used in Colman’s products. This panel event will open a conversation that highlights the role that each actor holds, and the opportunities and challenges of these partnerships in accelerating and scaling the transition to regenerative agriculture.
