Henrietta Courtauld and Bridget Elworthy co-founded The Land Gardeners to raise awareness and educate gardeners, growers and farmers about soil health. They produce an aerobic microbial compost, Climate Compost Inoculum on the Althorp Estate, Northants and are currently trialing its application on over 2000 acres which have recently turned organic both inoculating seed and through the application of compost teas. Their aim is to teach farmers how to make and use Climate Compost on their farms as an alternative to using chemicals.
