Tim is a catchment advisor working for Wessex Water on a range of water quality improvement projects across Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset. He studied agriculture at Edinburgh University and is Basis and FACTS qualified. Before joining Wessex Water he worked in the fresh produce industry and in agricultural further education. In 2017 Tim was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship to look at how farmers can keep nitrogen and phosphorus out of water. During 16 weeks of international travel he visited farmers and scientists in 10 countries to identify best practice soil, manure and nutrient management on intensive livestock and arable farms.
