Sophie farms with her husband Tom on the Dorset-Devon border, running a 1,400-acre organic dairy with arable and beef. They’ve been organic for over 10 years, with 400 dairy cows calving twice a year. A first-generation farmer, Sophie is passionate about community outreach—hosting school visits and mentoring new entrants. She won the 2021 Women in Dairy Award and is completing her Nuffield scholarship on the future of organic dairy.
