Many chemicals used in conventional farming systems are lost to the environment. During this session, a panel of experts will explore what this means to terrestrial and aquatic environments and how, by taking a whole farm approach, we can better understand their fate and make better decisions on farm and when influencing others to provide for nature. Our discussions will centre on chemical fertilisers, vet meds and plant protection products and stories of people, habitat and species, exploring how creating connected habitats leads to improved biodiversity that supports healthy food production and how monitoring guides decision-making.
