2024
Ana Reynolds leads AHDB’s national knowledge exchange team for the cereals and oilseeds sector. Her team’s work is pivotal in developing and implementing strategies to disseminate agricultural research, best practices and market insights to and between farmers and stakeholders. She is a new entrant to a mixed family farm in Northamptonshire and a Nature Friendly Farming Network Farming Champion.
Four new entrant farmers discuss their experiences of entering the sector, taking on new or family enterprises and navigating the obstacles of establishing regenerative systems. They’ll discuss starting up with low capital, access to land and finance, business planning, community involvement and what’s missing in giving more opportunities to new entrants.
Connecting management practices to nutrient density and human health outcomes: what do we know and what are the opportunities for farmers and growers?
Following on from our 5.30pm session – join us for an informal chat and Q&A with the speakers. Refreshments provided.
